Does your barcode survive your export?
Point this at a folder of images. It reads the metadata header of each file and tells you which fields your pipeline actually writes, how many files carry each one, and what the values look like. That is the whole feature.
The useful trick: run it on a folder before a processing step and again after. If a field is there in the first run and gone in the second, that step is stripping your barcodes — which is worth knowing on a Tuesday rather than on the night you are trying to ship 900 frames.
What leaves your computer
Nothing. This page reads roughly the first 256 KB of each file to find the metadata block, and never loads the image itself. There is no upload, no account, no credits, and no network request of any kind after the page loads. You can turn off your wi-fi and it will still work.
Choose a folder of images
JPEG, PNG, and TIFF are read. Everything else in the folder is ignored.
